Visit eGovlab in Kista Science City

We are situated in the NOD-house
Egovlab and The Department of Computer & System Sciences (DSV) are located in the NOD-house in Kista outside Stockholm.
DSV is the oldest Information Technology (IT) department in Sweden and began combining Systems Sciences in a Social Sciences perspective with Applied Computer Science and Communication Technologies as early as in the 1960s. It is now the largest department within Stockholm University. In 2019 DSV had 169 employees and 4,900 students.
A close relationship to Kista Science City – one of Europe’s leading ICT-clusters – gives DSV a well-established infrastructure. The academic activities at DSV range over a broad interdisciplinary field focusing on developing, and researching the use of IT to the needs of people, business, and society.
